Spinal cord injury

  • After a spinal cord injury, depending on the level of damage, a number of neuromuscular disorders are encountered. Among them, there is almost always a significant deterioration of gait quality, associated with disruption of sensation and muscle strength in the lower extremities.

  • The later rehabilitation is undertaken, the more potential musculoskeletal complications can occur, e.g. contractures, muscle atrophy, pressure sores. Failure to attempt uprighting and gait therapy distances the patient's chances of achieving optimal mobility.

  • Innovative robotic devices allow gait therapy to be carried out in a comfortable and safe manner for the patient. The ability to select individual settings of the devices allows to increase the efficiency of work with the patient and potentially achieve positive results faster.
